MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi seems to be in soup as a series of cases are surrounding him like a padmavyuh. After alleged hate speech, Akbaruddin hit the news for another case. In connection with derogatory remarks he made on the then district collector of Medak, Singhal, Sangareddy took the cognizance of the case and issued prisoner on transit (PT) warrant against Mr Owaisi.
Patancheru police reportedly left for Nirmal to take Akbaruddin Owaisi into their custody and produce him before Sangareddy Court on January 18. On the other hand, Owaisi's police custody ended and he was sent back to Adilabad jail.
This news might have come in as a shock to MIM as its supremo Asaduddin earlier questioned as to why the police didn't act timely and arrest him on the day he gave the alleged hate speech. Now, for the remarks that were made more than five years ago came back to haunt MIM legislator in the form of court cases.
