After prolonged anticipation, Congress has announced its 2 candidates for the all-party-meet at Delhi today (December 28) to discuss or rather debate on the Telangana issue. One of them is from the Telangana region and former speaker Suresh Reddy while the other is from the Seemandhra region and former minister Gade Venkat Reddy.
The stage is all set at Delhi for the crucial step to be taken towards T formation. Each of eight parties attending the all-party-meet, other than TRS, will have one leader from the conflicting regions.
Till some time most parties experienced internal conflicts between the leaders of the two regions. However, this time all parties express that their representatives would hold on to the same view.
That is, at least no two members of the same party will enter into a verbal duel at the meet and increase the already prevailing confusions.
While many call it a high level drama enacted by the high command, others would like to use this opportunity for political advantage over their rivals in the coming elections.
On the whole the all-party-meet is sure to bring in numerous changes in the state. Keep tab on these pages for more updates during the day regarding the developments at the high level meting. (Wishesh AarKay)
