A person surrendered before the police today in connection with the six crore rupees illegal money, which was recovered by the police when it was being shifted to unknown location in an auto. The police shifted the surrendered person to City Crime Station, where he was reportedly being questioned from where he procured that money and why he was shifting it in an auto.
It may be recalled that Saifabad police were conducting random checks in Lakdi-ka-pool area in Hyderabad. And they noticed an auto carrying cartons. Upon checking, they found thousands of thousand rupee notes. The police seized the money and nabbed the auto driver.
