The residuary Andhra Pradesh [Seemandhra] will go for polling in next few hours and the Election Commission has made all the arrangements for it. 3.67 crore voters will be election 25 Parliamentarians and 175 MLAs in 13 Seemandhra districts.
The Election Commission is using 1,29,930 Electronic Voting Machines [EVM] across 40,700 polling stations and 272 companies of security personnel will be monitoring the poll process.
Though the voting slips are yet to be distributed, Commissioner Bhanwarlal said, voters can vote with valid identity proofs.
Apart from Seemandhra, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhad states will also go for polling.
