Jagan makes a point, turns in resignation

YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy has finally made his point and turned in this resignation from the post of MP. His mother YS Vijayamma has also resigned from her post as MLA, in a bid to highlight the way Congress has been handling the Telangana situation.

While they have not taken sides, the politicians silently gave up their posts, bringing the total resignations to 17 MLAs and 2 MPs from YSRCP.

Jagan and his mother have made it clear that their resignations are a protest at the way the Congress Party is dealing with Andhra Pradesh. They have alleged that Congress is delaying the bifurcation process while keeping Telangana on their side by claiming the process has begun.
