The High Court has deferred the bail hearing of KV Brahmananda Reddy, one of the accused in illegal assets case, to November 5. Today, the matter came up before the High Court wherein the counsel presented his arguments before the court and the court deferred its hearing.
It may be noted that KV Brahmananda Reddy was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in May, 2012. He was the officer with Indian Railway Accounts Service. CBI charged Brahmananda Reddy for giving several undue concessions on Vanpic project as he was the special secretary to the ports, industrial and infrastructure wing.
