YSR Congress' honorary President Vijayamma has registered success in enemy lands in the Telangana Tour and has proved to be a threat to Telangana Rashtra Samithi. TRS now has enough reason to worry since the visit in Siricilla, Karimnagar which was expected to be a rough ride for Vijayamma entailed to be a smooth sail after the crowd embraced her presence warmly.
TRS leaders are now worried and will go the distance to ensure that Vijayamma's further tour in Telangana will not be as pleasant. She will move to Kagaz Nagar on Tuesday but TRS has already made its plans. Large scale demonstrations will be in place during her visit which will taint her image slightly at least. Hitting on the weakest link of YSRCP, TRS leaders have decided to pose the same question again: “What is YSRCP's stand on the separation of the state?”. The party will emphasize that without a definitive answer YSRCP is not welcome on the Telangana soil.
As of now YSRCP has a neutral stance in this issue, something that the TRS leaders don't particularly like. They want complete support from other parties in the establishment of a separate state.
The actual worry lies with the fears of losing power in their strongholds by losing the crowds to Vijayamma and YSRCP. Will the same trend continue in Kagaz Nagar tomorrow or will the obstacles posed by the TRS demonstrations have enough effect to win back their followers?
