She visited her uncle's home in SR Nagar area of Hyderabad when she was 11-year-old. On her return journey, Laxmi boarded a wrong train, which took her to Gujarat.

And after eight successful years, the women protection cell of the state got the whereabouts of this girl and took the action immediately.
