Mohammed Pehelwan appears before Nampally Court

Mohammed Pehelwan, one of the key accused in Akbaruddin Owaisi's stabbing case in 2011, has today appeared before Nampally Court. With intelligence sources alerting the city police about the possibilities of supports of Owaisi and Pehelwan attacking each other, tight security has been beefed up in an around Nampally Court.

Notably, a large number of supporters of Mohammed Pehelwan and Akbaruddin Owaisi have already reached Nampally court. It may be recalled that Akbaruddin Owaisi was stabbed in broad day light in the public by some miscreants, who are alleged to be family members of Mohammed Pehelwan. Mr Pehelwan was initially taken into the custody and was later released on bail.
